Welcome to DPart.

My name is Daniel Parnis. DPart is me - I am DPart.

There is only one photographer at DPart - me! You will deal with me, and me alone.

I started this venture to take something I love - photography - and share it with you and everyone who looks at my photos.

I don't believe a photographer is someone who simply documents an event - I believe they are someone who takes an event and turns it into a piece of art.

T o me a good photograph is one that captures the subject in a rare moment of honesty - be it a priceless expression or a stunning sunset - I want to capture it.

I studied Design (Visual Communication) with a major in Photography as Illustration. One of my tutors told me that the day you don't get excited about seeing an image on paper or screen after you've processed it in a darkroom or downloaded it from your camera - that is the day you should give up photography.

That day won't come anytime soon.
